LDR Buddy is made by one person. There's no ticket queue and no support bot — email us and you'll get a reply, usually within a day or two.
Almost always notification permission. Open iOS Settings → LDR Buddy → Notifications and check they're allowed. Inside the app, Settings shows a warning right under the nightly check-in if permission is off, and tapping it takes you straight there.
Birthday and anniversary reminders are sent from our servers rather than scheduled on your phone, so they arrive whether or not you've opened the app recently. If notifications are on and something still hasn't landed, email us — that's a bug and we want to know.

Premium adds the parts that need AI:
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us — so billing, cancelling, and refunds all live in your Apple account. Open Settings → Manage subscription in the app, or go to your Apple subscriptions page directly. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep premium until the period you've already paid for runs out.
Changed phones, or reinstalled? Tap Restore purchases on the paywall or in Settings and your subscription comes back — no account needed.
Nothing you've generated disappears. Every Thoughtful Act, trip, and profile you've already created stays readable and copyable — only making new ones pauses. Your notes, memories, and reminders are unaffected, and the free features keep working exactly as before.
Your notes, memories, and voice transcripts live on your phone, not our servers. Deleting a person from Settings removes everything saved about them, including their reminders and dates on our servers. Deleting the app removes the rest.
The one thing we do store is the text of your reminders and important dates, purely so the notification can reach you at the right moment — even a year later. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Recording uses Apple's speech recognition to produce a transcript. The audio file is written to LDR Buddy's private storage while you record and deleted the moment you finish — we never receive it and never store it. Only the transcript is kept, on your device.
LDR Buddy needs an iPhone running iOS 16.4 or later. There's no Android or web version yet.
